Secretary for the Environment visited Lexington Hill
Lexington Hill participated in the Community Involvement Project on Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Charging to get residents prepared for MSW and carry out the necessary preparatory work.
Green Council and Environmental Protection Department (EPD) officials together with the Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-Sing visited Lexington Hill on 17 July 2019 to learn more about how Lexington Hill prepares for the upcoming charging arrangement. Mr Ricky Wong, Managing Director of Wheelock Properties and Ms Grace Cheung, Senior Harriman Property Management Manager, accompanied our honourable guests during this visit.
Green Council officials organised a presentation on “How to measure the weight of garbage” and made a presentation to all attendees. Our team cares for the environmental and works in tandem with our residents to protect providing recycle bins and encouraging residents to dispose of their recyclable waste in an appropriate manner, so as to reduce landfill and conserve natural resources. Harriman will continue to exert all efforts to enhance community sustainability.
