Green Initiatives

Harriman plays a leading role in promoting environmental awareness and reducing negative environmental impact through sustainable practices, such as saving energy, reducing waste and promoting recycling schemes. We will continue to strive toward enhancing our environment, allowing it to become a green community.

We have won multiple awards, such as the 2018 RICS Sustainability Achievement Award - winner, the Charter on External Lighting - Platinum Award as well as the Umbrella Bags Reduction Accreditation Program - Gold Award. We also take part in the Sustainable Consumption Enterprise Award, the Green Office and Eco-Healthy Workplace Award and the Hong Kong Green Organisation Certification organised by the Business Environment Council, the World Green Organisation and the Environmental Campaign Committee.

Community Services

Our volunteer team exerts their very best efforts to make positive impact in our community.

Harriman’s contribution to the community also gained recognition from other associations, for example, we were awarded the Caring Company Logo, over a decade, by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service as well as the Green Achievement Award and People Caring Award of HSBC Living Business Awards 2017 organised by The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, the Business Environment Council, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service and the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management.

Occupational Safety

Our Safety Management Committee provides our associates with a positive culture in occupational health and safety; Harriman commits to dedicating its continuous efforts in relation to creating a safe and healthy working environment for our associates.

Our associates participated in the "The Outstanding OSH Employees Award" organised annually by the Occupational Safety & Health Council and they have won numerous awards.

We have joined the Joyful@Healthy Workplace programme organised by the Department of Health, Labour Department and Occupational Safety & Health Council to promote the healthy eating, physical activity and mental well-being of our associates.
